About the foundation
Standing with survivors since 2018.
Our Story
A movement born from love and loss.
The Thulani Qusheka Cancer Foundation was founded in 2018 with a simple, powerful belief: no community should face cancer alone. What began as a single awareness walk has grown into a year-round programme reaching schools, women's leagues and survivors across the Eastern Cape.
We use the language every community understands — sport — to open conversations about prevention, screening and survivorship. Through netball, soccer, walks and tournaments, we raise the resources and the voices needed to change outcomes.
Today the foundation is a registered non-profit (NPO 309-715, SARS PBO 9317133263) working alongside schools, partners and donors to build a healthier, stronger future.
